Calculation Caper – Includes 3 game boards, 2 players each. Players take turns rolling 3 dice. All 3 numbers must be used to write an operation that will equal a number on the game board.
4-5 In-A-Row - Includes 4 game boards with sums of increasing difficulty, 2 players per game board. Players select 2 addends from a grid and cover the sum on a larger grid. Involves single or double-digit addition and strategic thinking.
Fraction Box – Includes 3 different game boards, 2 players each. Players take turns drawing horizontal or vertical lines between 2 dots to enclose boxes contianing fractions. When a fraction is enclosed the player shades the equivalent amount on his or her diagram.
Hypersonic – A game for 2-3 players. Game board is a 7x7 grid with numbers 1-9 written randomly in squares. Players turn over a disc with a number from 1 to 50, and try to find a combination of 3 numbers on the grid that may be multiplied, added, and/or subtracted to equal the number on the disc.
Nim With Cards - Includes enough cards for 3 games of 2 players each. Students take turns selecting from cards numbered 1-6. Winner selects the card that brings the cumulative total closest to 31. May be played as an addition or as a subtraction game.
Rio & 2 More – A game for 2-3 players. Teacher provides 6-, 8-, 10-, or 12-sided die (or use included spinners) and chips. Includes instructions for 3 games that provide practice in multiplication.
Salute with 1's, 10's and 100's – A game for 3 players. Includes cards numbered 1-9, 10-90, and 100-900. Two students salute with a card in hand while a 3rd player announces the sum (or product) of the 2 cards. Players only see the other’s card. They race to identify the card they hold.
Space Race - Includes 3 game boards, 2 players each. Each game uses 3 dice numbered 1-6 and/or 7-12. Students multiply any 2 of the 3 dice, trying to make a product that will allow them to advance to the next base.
XIX - Includes 3 game boards, 2 players each. Students take turns removing 1, 2, or 3 markers from game board. Person who takes last piece wins.
You will also need: 80 transparent chips, 9 dice numbered 1-6, 2 each of 8, 10, and 12 sided dice, 5 dice numbered 7-12, 60 game pieces (chips)
